Join us for an international artist talk by Takahiro Fujiwara (Japan) who is one of the participating artists of this year's CAFKA (Contemporary Art Forum Kitchener & Area) and last year's Nuit Blanche (Zone A: Eaton Centre). It will follow an introduction of CAFKA by its executive director Gordon Hatt.

The event will be hosted by University of Toronto Art Centre, CAFKA, and Gendai Gallery.

In Nov 2009, Gendai partnered with Art Metropole and signed a one year contract with Birdhead to share the role as local representative for the BAGART project in Toronto. In the course of this contract year, Art Metropole will be the sole agent for BAGART sales in the Toronto area and Gendai will be responsible for facilitating installation and documenting the process of the BAGART project.
